We’ve done it; Kilo Code’s GitHub repo has over 10,000 stars!!
From our humble beginnings back in February of this year to now, we’ve seen incredible growth and that is thanks to the community who’ve supported us and helped us grow. From word of mouth, to engagement with our socials, to direct contributions to the codebase, a product like ours lives and dies on our community.
So that’s why I, your humble Community Manager, wanted to give that credit where credit is due!

Reward!
Last but not least, we’d like to take a moment to thank our biggest contributors on the repo;
mcowger: Some of our users are already familiar with this contributor, we see them all the time in our Discord helping our users out while also contributing to Kilo Code to help it be better! From building us a “Virtual Provider” that helps you manage your API costs and usage so that you have continuous service, to a variety of QOL upgrades, we’re very grateful for the quality work!
bhaktatejas922: This user has really helped us out with making Morph Fast Apply accessible and easy to use! AI-assisted coding is all about speed, and boy does this make it all the faster! Here’s a handy video on Morph Fast Apply in Kilo Code for more information.
NyxJae: Localization is important for any globally-available product. I’m proud of the fact that we have so many users all over the world who use Kilo Code to augment their engineering. I’ve heard from multiple users that Kilo, with the help of some thoughtful workflow files, can help a non-English coder drastically improve their readability and comprehension when working with code in English! But making sure that our resources are available and understandable to our broader audiences can be quite a task, and NyxJae has really helped out with that!
We’d like to thank these three by rewarding them $1000 in credits each! Kilo Code is what it is today thanks to users like these!
Keeping Open-Source Alive
Technology has always been a great equalizer. I used to teach with companies like The Last Mile and Next Chapter because I felt that greater access to software tools can help raise individuals and communities to greater heights. AI has been quite a beast to handle, oftentimes byzantine and inaccessible; but Kilo Code, being open-source, has really embraced the spirit of what it means to build a future together with technology. And once again, we couldn’t do that without all of you, so, sincerely; thank you so much!!
